A man who was barred from doing home improvement work in 2012 for stealing from customers is going to jail for doing it again.

George Anna was sentenced Thursday to a year behind bars for again fleecing customers.

In 2012, the State Attorney General obtained a court order barring Anna from doing home improvement work unless he posted a $100,000 bond. But Anna never did and continued to take on work.

In May 2015, Anna was caught again offering his services as a contractor, taking customers’ money and not doing the work. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail.

In August 2015, he was again caught doing the same thing. This time he was held in contempt of court and a judge sent him to jail for a year.
