Police were called to a gas station on South Park Avenue for a burglary in progress and while investigating, they were called to the Botanical Gardens, where Buffalo Police had pulled over a speeding vehicle and found a large quantity of Newport cigarettes in a duffel bag.

Officers responded and took Emmanuel Anderson, 18; Jeremy Christopher, 24; Jaonte Maye, 16; and Darshawn Nevins, 17; into custody.

All four are charged with third degree burglary, petit larceny, fifth degree criminal possession of stolen property and third degree criminal mischief.
