Niagara Falls police say a man was shot in the lower back and taken to Erie County Medical Center, overnight Monday.
Police say the shooting happened on Willow Avenue, near 15th Street, about 12:20 a.m.
Pictures from "The Action Niagara Falls" shows an area around the alley roped off with crime scene tape. Police are blocking the alley in the pictures.
The victim appears to be in serious condition, according to police.
There is no word on a suspect or a description of the shooter.
Police are still investigating.
