A Niagara Falls police officer was taken to the hospital, overnight Friday, after crashing into the concrete base of a light pole.

According to Niagara Falls police, the officer was responding to a fight at McDonalds between customers, before crashing, in what appears to be a parking lot.
At this point, we don't know the officer's name, but police say tthe officer was not seriously hurt.
