A construction worker is facing charges after he allegedly stole and cashed a forged check.
Brian Gordon, 25, of Buffalo was arrested last Thursday. Deputies say bank officials were suspicious and contacted the Clarence company. After reviewing security footage, company officials identified Gordon as an employee.
Gordon is charged with felony grand larceny and forgery charges. He was taken to the Erie County Holding Center on $5,000 bail.
The investigation continues.
