A suspected drunk driver was arrested moments after an accident, thanks to a concerned citizen.
A witness watched as 66-year-old James Russ made a wide right turn on Lockport Road and struck the rear end of a vehicle on Monday. The witness followed Russ to his residence and called police.
After a number of tests, troopers arrested the Niagara Falls resident for numerous violations including aggravated driving while intoxicated, speeding, leaving the scene of a property damage accident and improper right turn.
