Two people were taken to Erie County Medical Center after a reported shooting in the city's Black Rock neighborhood.
Shots rang out just before 11:30 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of Thompson Street and Hamilton Street.
A 7 Eyewitness News crew on the scene saw at least one person receiving advance life saving measures being administered by paramedics. Police said the man was shot with bird shot and his injuries appear to be non-life threatening.
Another ambulance crew attended to a second person who was alert and talking. We're told that person was assaulted.
Both people were transported to E.C.M.C. for further treatment.
