Law enforcement crews are cleaning up an apartment house after a raid on Wednesday uncovered a meth lab.

Authorities raided two homes in Jamestown, including the basement apartment of a home on Allen Street. There officers discovered a working meth lab and took three people into custody. The building has two other units. Those residents were evacuated until the scene could be cleaned up.

The other raid took place on Cherry Street. Authorities say that home was behind used to sell heroin and crack cocaine. A 17-year-old male was taken into custody there and charged with drug possession. Charges are pending against several others who were in the home during the raid.

Jamestown Police say the names of those arrested Wednesday will be released Thursday morning.
