An Akron man has admitted to having and sharing child pornography.

54-year-old Robert Strach pleaded guilty Wednesday. Investigators said he was part of an online community dedicated to exchanging and discussing child pornography.

Investigators seized a desktop computer from Strach's home in March.  A forensic search of the computer revealed two hard drives with 76 videos and 273 images of child pornography, some of which featured children younger than 12 years old, and some of which contained depictions of violence.

Strach faces maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine when he is sentenced in March 2017.
