Police in Jamestown are working to figure out who set three vacant homes on fire in the same area in the past week.
The first fire happened on Christmas Eve at 6:10 a.m. on North Main Street. Another home was lit on fire Wednesday on North Main Street at 3:50 a.m., followed by a second home that same morning on Spring Street at 5:20 a.m.
Investigators believe these could be connected to other vacant home fires that date back to 2014, like one on October 23, 2015 on McKinley Avenue, another on May 18, 2015 on Falconer Street, and a third on October 25, 2014, also on McKinley Avenue.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crimestoppers at 716-867-6161. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to the arrest of the suspect or suspects.
