Police in Jamestown say they have identified a suspect in a shooting last week Monday that injured a 10-year-old child.
Investigators the suspect they have identified is in custody on charges unrelated to the shooting, but they are continuing to work the case and are asking anyone with information to call 716-483-8477.
Around 9:20 p.m. on January 25, a 10-year-old child was injured when someone shot multiple rounds into a home on East 2nd Street.

Five bullet holes could be seen in one window. Police said that window is likely where all of the shots were fired into.
The child was taken to WCA Hospital and later transferred to Women and Children’s Hospital in Buffalo for further treatment. The child is said to be in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries.
