Ten more people who are allegedly connected to a heroin ring busted over the summer have now been indicted by a federal grand jury.
This past June, federal agents dismantled a heroin ring that operated between NYC and Buffalo. In all, 10 people were arrested in two drug busts in Buffalo and Dunkirk.
Now 10 more are facing charges. Authorities say these 10 were runners for the heroin ring and each are facing charges of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute, and distribution of, heroin.
The following people were indicted:
- Hector Carattini
- Michael Perez
- Juan Oliverias-Arbelo
- Mark Gonzelez
- Adalberto Cruz
- Maikel Gonzelez
- Alberto Fernandez
- Raymond DeJesus
- Hector Huertas
- Kristie Boncore
If convicted, each faces a mandatory minimum of five years in jail.
