Police arrest man for Valentine's Day vandalism

Olean Police have made an arrest in connection with a Valentine's Day break-in at the St. John's church on N. Union Street.

Police have charged 21 year old Thomas Kissinger with Criminal mischief 2nd degree and Arson 4th degree.

Investigators say Kissinger broke into through the front doors of the church, caused several thousands of dollars damage, and set a small fire.

Fortunately, the fire burned out before causing and substantial damage to the church.
