POLICE: 14-year-old driver had van full of teens

A 14-year-old from Hamburg is facing charges after police say the teen was behind the wheel of a minivan full of kids.

Orchard Park Police say a minivan was spotted driving on South Buffalo Street with no headlights or taillights around 3:45 a.m. Saturday, June 30th.  When police tried to pull the van over, it hit a curb.  Police say the 14-year-old was behind the wheel, and that five other teens were in the car.  They were all 13 and 14 years old.

The driver of the car is charged with unauthorized use of a vehicle, and will face the charges in Family Court.  The teens were all released to their parents.
