Plans to renovate the old grain silos on Elk Street in South Buffalo are moving forward.
The Planning Board has approved plans to turn the vacant silos into commercial property with a small residential component. The building is owned by partners at Young & Wright Architectural.
"I've driven by this site a number of times and always thought this would be a great place to do something, and my partner went out and found a way to purchase the property," explained Shawn Wright from Young & Wright Architectural.
The owners say they're hoping to start construction soon.
