Plans for downtown grocery store move forward

Plans to bring a new grocery store to downtown Buffalo have taken a step forward. 7EWN has learned that Ciminelli Real Estate Corporation will unveil plans for a mixed use development project at 201 Ellicott Street on December 1st. A new Tops Markets location is included in the plan. 

"We're excited to partner with Tops to bring another dynamic, fresh food option to downtown Buffalo, one that will provide convenient access to folks on the City's adjacent East Side as well as residents and employees in the Central Business District", said Denise Juron-Borgese, Vice President of Development and Planning, Ciminelli Real Estate Corporation. 

Initial plans for the site will be unveiled by CREC and other project partners, including Cannon Design, and Tops Markets LLC at the Buffalo & Erie County Public Library at an informational meeting set for December 1st at 6 p.m.
