Canterbury Woods' plan to build a senior living facility in Gates Circle is moving one step forward.
City officials tell 7 Eyewitness News the Buffalo Planning Board approved revised plans for the six-story, $40 million project.
Neighbors were concerned that metal panels on the outside of the building would ruin the neighborhoods historic charm.
Canterbury Woods changed the design, replacing the metal with a terra cotta finish.
According to Business First, construction on the project should begin sometime next month.
