The warm hearts of Buffalo's men and women in blue was on full display Thursday on the city's east side.
A picture posted on Facebook shows two officers tending to a boy with a bleeding toe at MLK Jr. Park.
The officers - who are new to the department - went to a nearby Rite Aid to pick up medical supplies to help the boy.
"When the little boy cut his foot, the young officers that were assigned to the park were looking for anyone with Band-Aids," said Roscoe Henderson III, who took the picture. "When they couldn't find any, I gave them a ride and the officer picked up supplies, gloves and all. I started to walk away and changed my mind, turned around and decided to post a positive pic."
