The New York State Police arrested Glen Tarbell, 55, of Perry on Wednesday, November 30th, accusing him of trying to engage in sexual contact with a 13-year-old girl.
Tarbell was charged in the Town of Geneva with second-degree attempted criminal sexual act and first-degree attempted disseminating indecent material to minors. State police say Tarbell was arrested before Tarbell was able to make any contact with the girl.
Tarbell was taken to the Ontario County Jail after his arraignment in Town of Geneva Court. He is held there on $5,000 cash bail or $10,000 property bond. State police say more charges could be leveled in this case.
