Shuttle bus service will be provided this evening to the wake for Conor Long, the 2017 Hamburg High School graduate from the Town of Boston who died Sunday while hiking at Zoar Valley.

Parking will be available at Town Hall Plaza, at the site of the old Kmart on South Park Avenue. A bus will make round trips to Donald Demmerley Funeral Home on Pierce Avenue  from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Parking will be extremely limited at the funeral home, where calling hours will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 9 p.m.

A mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at SS Peter and Paul Church in Hamburg.

Long, 20, was a beloved student at Hamburg High School. He served as class president, coached track and field and was instrumental in making Bald for Bucks a record-breaking fundraising event. He also served as a student representative on the Hamburg School Board.

"Any parent would want their son to grow up to be like Conor," said Hamburg Central School District Superintendent Michael Cornell.
