Terry and Kim Pegula announced they have acquired the Buffalo Beauts of the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL).
The pair says this is an effort to further "their commitment to advancing the game of hockey on all levels."
The Beauts are the second NWHL team to become affiliated with an NHL franchise. The team currently sits at 3-4, second in the four-team NWHL.
The Buffalo Beauts will host four more home games:
- January 6th vs. Boston Pride
- January 20th vs. Connecticut Whale
- January 27th vs. the Pride
- February 3rd vs. the Riveters
