BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - Bills and Sabres owners Terry and Kim Pegula have acquired a majority interest in ADPRO Sports, one of the nations largest providers of sports branded merchandise.
A goal of the acquisition is to increase the ADPRO workforce in Western New York under the management of Pegula Sports and Entertainment, said PSE owner and CEO Kim Pegula.
ADPRO currently employs about 100 people at its production facility in Buffalo. It is one of the largest Nike team dealers in the United States. It also represents Adidas, Under Armour and Buffalo-based New Era Cap Company.
In addition to having licenses to provide uniforms and apparel for the NFL and NHL, ADPRO will soon enter the NBA market. It also provides branded merchandise to hundreds of colleges, high schools and corporations nationwide, including homegrown companies such as M&T Bank, Ingram Micro, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of WNY.
