A pastor's son has been ruled a level two sex offender after engaging in sexual conduct with a 13-year-old girl.
For his crime, 28- year-old Caleb Sexton was sentenced to six months in jail, followed by 10 years of sex offender probation.
Sexton is the son of the pastor at Hedstrom Baptist Church in Cheektowaga, where he knew the victim. The Lancaster man was also involved in youth activities in the church and at the West Seneca Christian school.
As a level two sex offender, Sexton must update authorities of any changes to his address within 10 days. He must also update his photograph every three years. These are lifetime requirements.
