New York State Police said a one-car accident along Route 77 in the Town of Alabama left one dead Monday.
Troopers said the car went off the road after the 40-year-old driver suffered a medical condition, went into a ditch and hit a tree, according to police.
The back seat passenger, 56-year-old Karen Mann of Batavia, died. The driver and two other passengers suffered minor injuries. Troopers did not identify them. They said their investigation is ongoing.
