Pano's Restaurant has pushed back it's opening date to May 21st.

The new restaurant management had originally planned on a May 1st grand re-opening. Owners did not give a reason for the rescheduling.

Take a look at their Facebook post:

Pano's Restaurant in Buffalo's Elmwood Village got a new owner for the first time in 41 years.

Chason Affinity Companies, which is building a condominium project right next door, purchased the iconic eatery from Pano Georgiadis.

Chason Affinity is in the process of demolishing a row of former houses-turned-businesses on Elmwood Avenue between the restaurant and Forest Avenue to make way for a 40-unit condo project that will include retail at street level and underground parking. The project is expected to be complete in 2019.
