Could a popular Elmwood Village restaurant be changing hands?
Pano Georgiadis tells the Seven Eyewitness News that while no deal has been made, Pano's on Elmwood, the restaurant he has owned for over 40 years, is up for sale.
He does however, say he isn't actively looking to sell the building, he is however entertaining offers.
"I'm in good health. I work seven days a week." Pano tells 7 Eyewitness News. "I'm fine, but if someone comes with the money, I'd be willing to sell."
Georgiadis, 72, confirmed the owners of Deep South Taco came to him with a potential deal, but that deal was never closed. It's also been speculated that Chason Affinity could be interested in purchasing the property. Pano declined to confirm that any serious talks have taken place, but did say interest had been shown through a realtor.
The restaurant is directly adjacent to the developers four story condo project on the Corner of Forest and Elmwood, which just began demolition on existing structures.
