Pair took E.C. Sheriff's on chase through several counties

Michael Penvose and Laura Park were arrested after leading police on a chase through several counties early Wednesday morning. 

An Erie County Deputy tried to make a traffic stop after seeing vehicle and traffic violations at Route 438 and Richardson Road. 

The pair did not stop when the deputy turned on this sirens and began a wild pursuit through Cattaraugus County then back into Erie County along Southwestern Boulevard.

Officials say the chase ended after Evan Police used stop sticks. The vehicle halted at Southwestern Boulevard and Pleasant in the Town of Hamburg.

Police discovered 37-year-old Penvose had possession of a felony amount of meth and his license had 11 active suspensions. 

Penvose was arrested and charged for criminal possession of methamphetamine and aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, as well as string of other charges.

Penvose is currently being held at the Erie County Holding Center pending his arraignment.
