Tinkergarten classes turn your local parks into classrooms!

You can turn your kids away from screens and get them into nature...and they'll learn some valuable skills while they're outside! Tinkergarten classes promote creativity, sensory skills, communication and problem solving.

Class leaders host learning sessions in local parks, like in Delaware Park behind the Albright Knox Art Gallery, Stiglmeier Park in Cheektowaga, Griffon Park in Niagara Falls and Knox Farm State Park in East Aurora. You can find a class near you right here. Classes are offered session packages that run about $140.

Kids can participate in activities like painting with flower petals and berries, creating "stone soup", treasure hunts, learning fractions with flowers and creating kites.

If you're interested in bringing your children or grandchildren from 18 months to 8 years old, you can try a free class! More information is available here.
