Ottawa blamed for influx of people crossing into Canada illegally

The Ontario Government claims Ottawa is responsible for a housing crisis created by asylum seekers illegally crossing the border.

According to CTV News, Ontario is blaming the federal government for encouraging people to cross into Canada illegally which it claims is now causing a housing crisis and threatening the services Ontario families depend on.

The Ontario Government says Ottawa should pay for it is calling a mess.

CTV reports the federal government recently offered $50 million to help Ontario, Quebec and Manitoba deal with the influx of asylum seekers. However, the provinces have asked for more support.
