Orchard Park Police are investigating a possible kidnapping after a 42-year-old man says a member of his family took him against his will and tortured him.
The man from Cleveland, Ohio, was found at a department store on Ameila Drive Sunday, December 3rd around 7:30 a.m. He told Police he had been kidnapped by a family member in the Cleveland area and driven to Orchard Park where he managed to escape. He told police he was tortured along the way, and that the person who took him may have been headed to Rochester.
Police say the man was highly intoxicated, and that he had a number of injuries on his face and body. He was taken to a local hospital. Police are now on the lookout for a Black Chevy Cobalt with New York plates, which is what the man says his kidnapper was driving.
