Orchard Park Police observed a minivan driving southbound on South Buffalo Street in Orchard Park early Saturday morning with no headlights or taillights activated.
Police attempted to stop the vehicle around 3:45 a.m. and the vehicle came to a stop after striking a curb.
Upon investigation, police discovered a 14-year-old Hamburg resident was operating the vehicle and had five other passengers with him all ages 13-14.
The parents of the operator were contacted and responded to the Orchard Park Police Station.
The 14-year-old operator faces unauthorized use of a vehicle charges, the five other youths were released to their parents.
