One Buffalo Church wants to show the people of Flint, Michigan that the City of Good Neighbors cares.
Sunday, True Bethel Baptist Church began collecting water for the people of Flint, who are currently dealing with a water crisis. Photos were posted to the True Bethel Facebook Page showing some of the donations starting to come in.
The church is calling the mission "Operation H20" and is collecting water until Thursday, January 28. Those interested in donating can bring cases of water to 907 East Ferry Street in Buffalo.
Members of the church plan to head out in their mobile unit and deliver the water to Flint once all donations are collected.
