OP man arrested for driving with BAC four times the legal limit

A man was arrested in Orchard Park Tuesday night after driving with a blood alcohol content four times the legal limit.

Orchard Park Police say they tried to stop Michael Zilak, 57, with lights and siren after he made an improper right turn. According to officers, Zilak just kept driving until he turned into a private driveway on Imperial Drive.

Police say Zilak showed multiple signs of intoxication and failed all field sobriety tests.

Zilak was arrested for DWI. Police say he was previously convicted of aggravated DWI with a BAC greater than .18% in 2012 in the Town of Hamburg.

Officers say Zilak is charged with DWI, aggravated DWI with a BAC greater than .18%, aggravated DWI with a BAC greater than .18% with a prior conviction, improper right turn and failed to yield the right of way to an emergency vehicle.

Zilak was released on cash bail.
