One World Water Lantern Festival comes to Buffalo

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) - The One World Water Lantern Festival, a family-friendly event filled with fun, happiness, and hope where people come together to create a peaceful memorable experience comes to Buffalo Saturday, May 26.

The event will take place at Wilkeson Pointe, from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

There will be food trucks, music and other activities.

The lantern launch will occur between 8:45 and 9:30 p.m.

Tickets are available at WaterLanternFestival.com and each ticket includes entry into the festival, floating water lantern, a marker to design your lantern, keychain LED flashlight and a wristband. 

The price of the ticket also covers the cost of collecting and removing the lanterns from the water after the event.
