The Niagara County Sheriff's Office has identified a man killed in a late night crash in Newfane.
Deputies say 29-year-old Justin Mauk was the driver of the car that slammed into a tree on Phillips Road around 10:30 Thursday night.
A passenger in that vehicle had to be extricated and was flown to an area hospital by Mercy Flight.
There's no update on that person's name or condition.
