One person has died after a house fire in Niagara Falls on Tuesday.
The victim has been identified as 40-year-old David Guarino.
Firefighters responded to the fire on the 200 block of 74th Street around 8 p.m. and found fire in the rear of the building.
"While they were fighting the fire they did find an occupant who was overcome by the fire. The occupant was pulled out by the crews," said Niagara Falls Fire Chief Thomas Colangelo.
Colangelo said the victim was the only person in the house.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
