An investigation is underway Sunday into a one-vehicle accident on Old Route 17 that's left one dead in the Town of Salamanca. It happened just before midnight Saturday.
According to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff's Office, the vehicle crossed the center line, went off the road and struck a tree.
A passenger was ejected from the vehicle as a result of the collision. No arrests have been made at this time.
