Officials are investigating after fatal car accident that happened around 12:30 p.m. on Thursday on Route 33 in the Town of Stafford.
The Genesee County Sheriff's Office say Tracy Carpenter, 54, of Oakfield was heading East on Route 33 when Carpenter's Acura TSX traveled into the westbound lane.
Carpenter collided with a tractor trailer.
Carpenter was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the tractor trailer, a 67-year-old man from Geneseo, was not hurt.
Investigators say weather was not the cause of the accident.
Officials are investigating.
