One person is dead after an overnight fire in South Buffalo.  Two others, including a firefighter, were hurt.

Firefighters were called to TJ Coffeys bar on Seneca Street about 2:00 a.m. Wednesday.  It was closing time. Firefighters say the fire started in the apartments above the bar, but the bar itself was not affected.

Family members tell us Charles Drumm, who went by Chuck, died in the fire. They provided these photos of Chuck to 7 Eyewitness News.

His family has set up a gofundme page to pay for funeral expenses.

Firefighters say the building is a total loss.

This was quickly called to two alarms, meaning nearly 60 crew members were on the scene.  First responding firefighters needed help fighting this fire.

The building is heavily damaged.

Firefighters tell us two people, including that firefighter, were taken to ECMC.  They're expected to recover.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
