One dead after motorcycle crashes, bursts into flames

One person is dead after a motorcycle collided with a car at the intersection of Love and Schwegler Roads on Grand Island.

Erie County Sheriff's Deputies responding to the scene around 8:30 p.m. Thursday say the motorcycle was engulfed in flames when they got there. Witnesses told police the motorcycle was driving down Love Road when the collision happened.

Police tell us the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.  The medical examiner's office is working to determine the cause of death and to identify the victim.  The driver of the car was evaluated at the scene by medical professionals.
