When Perks Cafe moved to Elmwood Village, it found 10-15% of its business coming from the women and children's hospital on Bryant Street.

Now, that business could be coming back to the entire area. At 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 31, Ellicott Development and Sinatra & Co. will announce their plans for the old hospital campus. The announcement is at the Lafayette Presbyterian Church, and is open to the public.

Businesses in the Elmwood Village hope the changes bring more foot traffic and a night life to the area. A spokesperson for the Elmwood Village Association said an opportunity of this magnitude is rare, and hopes the redevelopment project breathes new life into the section of Elmwood.
