An off-duty Erie County Sheriff's Deputy is being credited for saving a man's life after he collapsed at a local gym.
Deputy Ricky Lundberg was working out at a Cheektowaga gym on Wednesday when he saw a fellow patron fall to the ground. Deputy Lundberg jumped into action, first performing CPR on the man and then utilizing an AED.
By the time an ambulance arrived the man reportedly had a steady heartbeat and was awake and alert.
