New York health care organizations and businesses donated medical supplies to help victims in Puerto Rico.

These supplies were loaded onto a plane and sent out to the U.S. territory today to help with critical medical care.

Governor Cuomo also announced a partnership with UNICEF and UPS to deliver more supplies directly to Puerto Rican communities.

Today, UPS will deliver over 100,000 bottles of water donated by New Yorkers across the state.

The Greater New York Hospital Association, Healthcare Association of New York State, and Community Health Care Association of New York State will send out over 100 medical professionals to Puerto Rico.

Health response teams will include physicians, nurses, and nurse practitioners.
