New York State has seized three popularly owned hot dog restaurants.

The New York State Department of Taxation and Finance has closed three Theodore's Red Hots locations in Western New York. The government agency says the owners owe $123,333.20 in taxes.

The doors are locked shut on all Theodore's Red Hots locations, including Grand Island, Cheektowaga and Williamsville.
