New information released by Pennsylvania State Police detail the arrest of a man who triggered an Amber Alert Thursday out of Genesee County, New York.

Pennsylvania State Troopers arrested 22-year-old Guillermo Torres-Acevedo at a Walmart in Tioga County Thursday evening. He's now in custody for violating an order of protection.

Authorities say Torres-Acevedo abducted a 14-year-old girl Thursday from the Town of Byron in Genesee County. Family members of the girl said the couple were in a relationship and planned to run away together.

Police issued an Amber Alert a little before 2:00 p.m. and later canceled it after the girl was found safe near 7:00 p.m..
