North Tonawanda police arrest man in connection to string of robberies

North Tonawanda police have arrested 19-year-old Marshall Esmay, of North Tonawanda, in connection to a string of burglaries in the Wurlitzer Park area of the city.

Police say Esmay robbed the homes on July 23rd.

Charges against Esmay include burglary, attempted burglary, petit larceny, endangering the welfare of a child, and possession of marijuana.

The police department recovered numerous pieces of property from Esmay and have returned them to their rightful owners. Much of the stolen property has still not been reported as missing.

Residents in the Wurlitzer Park area who believe their home was entered on July 23rd are asked to call police.

Esmay was arraigned at the North Tonawanda City Court. Bail has been set for $20,000.
