North Tonawanda offering free tax preparations to eligible residents

About half of all North Tonawanda residents will be able to receive free help with filing their taxes.

According to American Fact Finder, nearly 50% of North Tonawanda residents made under $50,000 annually. 

In response to the community's need, the North Tonawanda Resource Hub is teaming up with the Niagara University VITA Program to offer free itemized and schedule c tax preparation.

IRS-certified volunteers will be on hand Wednesday, March 21 to help residents who are making $60,000 or less. The volunteers will be set up at Redeemer Lutheran Church at 265 Falconer Street.

An appointment is required. You are asked to call 427-4893 to set one up.
