Chautauqua County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a vehicle accident Saturday evening in the Town of Pomfret.
Deputies say it happened at the CSX tracks on Berry Road when, Kayla Boedner, 20, of Fredonia allegedly moved a road closed barrier to attempt to cross over the tracks.
Her vehicle became stuck as she was crossing. Boedner exited her vehicle as she observed a train traveling towards her, according to the Sheriff's Office. The train was unable to stop and struck her vehicle.
Boedner was issued a traffic ticket for failure to obey a traffic control device. There were no injuries reported.
