School is open, Thursday, at Holland Junior/Senior High, despite some threats against the school being shared on social media.

The Erie County Sheriff's Office reports there is no credible threat.  That said, deputies will be monitoring the situation.

It's unclear what the nature of the threat was.

According to the Sheriff's spokesman, the School Resource Officer became aware of a possible threat by a student.  The SRO interviewed a number of people and deemed the threat not to be credible.

The district released a similar statement on its website.

No one was hurt.
