An outpouring of support from the community has convinced the owners of Niagara Hobby and Craft Mart to reopen to the public for one final day.

The store, which has called the corner of Union near Walden in Cheektowaga home for almost 32 years, will open Saturday for "Appreciation Day" from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

"We heard from many who asked for a last opportunity to visit…. Thank you for that," a message posted on the store's Facebook page reads.  "So, we want to provide a final opportunity for our longtime customers, our extended family really, to visit us and make use of 70% off your purchase."

Niagara Hobby says it has been bombarded with phone, email and social media messages since news broke Wednesday that it was going out of business.
